TENEBRAE CHOIR

Tenebrae Choir from London sings Brahms, Bruckner & Bundi.
The Tenebrae Choir from London is one of the leading vocal ensembles in the world. Under the direction of former King's Singer Nigel Short, the choir has produced over 30 recordings and has received numerous awards (BBC Awards, Gramophone Awards, Grammy). With its incredible precision, perfect intonation and unmistakable atmospheric sound volume, the choir performs in renowned concert series and festivals worldwide.

For its first appearance in the canton of Graubünden, the choir has put together a varied programme with well-known motets by Anton Bruckner as well as highly romantic a cappella works by Johannes Brahms. The programme is complemented by two new compositions by the Graubünden composer Flavio Bundi. The finale will be the Mass in F major by the Liechtenstein-born organist and composer Josef Rheinberger.

First concert of chant.gr
The newly founded association chant.gr has set itself the goal of bringing top-class vocal music to the canton of Graubünden - especially to the Surselva region and Chur. The concert with Tenebrae is the starting signal for the association and for the initiators Zoe Maire, Flavio Bundi and Thomas Märki.
